Former Pottery Manufacturing Plant

Denali conducted a comprehensive site investigation and characterization of a former pottery plant site to be developed as a large senior citizen residential complex in the Japantown area of San Jose. Denali developed the remedial action plan and provided oversite for the contractor remediation activities over an 18-month period. A human health risk assessment was completed to ensure that the remediation objectives would be protective of the residence or occupants' health. Regulatory agency negotiations including HUD, City of San Jose Redevelopment Agency and the Santa Clara Valley Water District were also integral to the successful completion of the project.
