Former Aluminum Anodizing Plant Closure

Denali assisted the client in the Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment, hazardous waste investigation and closure of a bankrupt former aluminum anodizing plant in Burbank, California. Denali conducted a hazardous materials survey, investigated subsurface soil and groundwater issues, prepared a facility closure plan and risk assessment, prepared bid specifications for competitive bidding and oversite of the selected remediation contractor. Denali oversaw the successful cleanup of the facility. The Department of Toxic Substances Control granted regulatory closure following completion of on-site decommissioning activities.
