Wastewater Treatment Plant Worker Proposition 65 Exposure Assessment

Denali was retained by a wastewater management district to conduct an exposure assessment of the wastewater treatment plant workers in the plants sludge thickening facilities. Air quality monitoring was conducted to assess the potential exposure to chemical hazards presented by use of a new sludge thickening polymer product. Worker job task were evaluated to determine when hazardous conditions may be present. Air quality analytical data and work tasks observations were reviewed to verify compliance with applicable Cal-OSHA and Proposition 65 requirements.
