Denali conducted an indoor environmental quality building survey and monitored remediation of mold impacted areas and relocation of 130 Nevada State Welfare office employees to alternative locations. Initial phases of remediation were completed while the buildings were partially occupied by isolating interior areas, communicating remediation hazards concerns to the office workers, and conducting daily indoor air quality monitoring. The logistics of remediation and staff relocation included decontamination of office equipment and furniture.
These efforts were coordinated with the State of Nevada’s Risk Manager, Welfare Office management and the State’s Public Works Board personnel. The remediation activities and staff relocation were completed on time, under budget and without interruption of daily Welfare Office essential duties.
