Richard Bolmen, Principal - Safety and Risk for the Denali Group was on a three month assignment in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in early 2003. The project involved the development and implementation of the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security infrastructure for TECOM, the largest high technology and media free trade zone in world, located in Dubai, U.A.E. More than 1,000 international companies and over 10,000 employees work or reside in TECOM. Mr. Bolmen developed policies, procedures, training programs and developed the strategic and implementation plan for Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City and Knowledge Village. Mr. Bolmen also developed and trained TECOM's emergency response team and provided the core safety, fire protection and industrial hygiene training for TECOM's Safety and Facilities Management Departments.
